Loading ...Friendly competition smiled my way and flutters of nervous anticipation filled my belly. VertFest 2010 at Alpental was about to begin. The goal: ascend several thousand feet over a few short, including sweaty bootpacks, sketchy switchbacks, and the most encouraging volunteers ever.
