Profile

Lauren was born in Seattle and raised on the Kitsap Peninsula in the 98370. She spent her formative years on the beach playing wizards, building sand forts, riding driftwood dragons and finding magic stones until Mom rang the dinner gong. She knows there isn’t anything more luxurious than an infinite amount of free time outside punctuated by macaroni and cheese and Americana. This is why thru-hiking appeals to her. Her favorite trail towns are Stehekin, Washington and Boonsboro, Maryland. The Continental Divide Trail beckons, but first…back to school at The Evergreen State College. Lauren currently works on the ground floor of 2203 in the Outdoor Research Retail Store.
