The Oregon Cup was originally a whitewater race series and freestyle kayak event. The event was retired in 2004 but is back for 2011!We have 5 races scheduled:

Your $30 per race entry fee will get you a t-shirt, raffle tickets, possibly some schwag and assorted food and beverages at the post race gatherings. Everyone has a chance to win the Oregon Cup.

Race classes include: sea kayak, fast sea kayak, high performance kayak, double sea kayak, outrigger 1 & 2, Canoe 1 & 2, SUP open, under 12.5, under 14

Get your climb on!  Yup, it’s starting to look a lot like spring and with that, it’s time to break out the climbing shoes for the finest climbing festival this side of summer!  Head to the New River Rendezvous and join Outdoor Research and countless other folks for one of the biggest climbing events anywhere.

This year features races, clinics, hijinx, comps, ballyhoo and all the tomfoolery you can handle!

Hey paddlers, come out and paddle with Outdoor Research for 4 days beginning on August 15th.

The 4 day paddle is put on by the Willamette Riverkeepers and will feature four days of great paddling, great catered meals, outstanding beer and wine, nightly entertainment and speakers.  Camping will feature amenities to ensure a comfortable camping experience.

Come join Outdoor Research for the NW Creeking Competition this April 16th and 17th near the East fork of the Lewis river in Lewis County, WA.  Get yourself pre-registered by April 14th or get there early to register day of.

Come join Outdoor Research for the world largest backpacking event in Damascus Virginia this May the 13th through the 15th.

Outdoor Research will be set up in the campground along with other event partners.  The weekend will include slide shows, free showers (phew!), free health screens for you and your dog and the 11th Annual Creeper Trail Fun Run!  The weekend is chock full of tons of other presentations and activities, so check out the site for all the details, registration and accommodation information.

Come paddle Canadian waters this May for the 2011 Atlantic Paddle Symposium in Terra Nova National Park, Glover Town, Newfoundland.  “This event bring together some of the nation’s top instructors to explore current developments in paddling and celebrate paddling in Canada.  Join us for a weekend of skill development, stories, entertainment, paddling and most importantly, fun!”

Attendees will be able to hone their skills across many different facets of paddling: sea kayaking, river kayaking, and canoeing.

VertFest is back -  bigger and better than ever!

Come join us for 2 days of clinics, demos, films and of course the biggest rando rally in the Northwest!  It all begins on Saturday February 12th at Alpental with Ski Photography clinics with Grant Gunderson and Jason Hummel.  Sidecoutnry Adventure Skiing with pros and guides from Pro Guiding Service; other clinics will include Advance Beacon Skills and Snow Pack analysis.

Once the fun is over on the mountain, come join us for the Backcountry Film Festival at the North Bend theater in the evening.   There will be awesome gear raffles, a chance check out the latest product showcased by our sponsors and time to enjoy a beer and food in our beer garden and oh course some great backcountry films!

Las Vegas.  What could be better than hanging out with a few hundred of your closest friends, climbing the beautiful rock of the Nevada desert, enjoying great beer, wine and food in the evening, then shaking your groove thing into the wee hours?
