Racing in the 65th Stowe Derby? Do your pre-event recon Friday, February 12th, 2:30 sharp,  during a sneak peak of the Stowe Derby descent course. Pre-ski the Stowe Derby descent and try out those turns on skinny skis. It might just be the most fun you’ll ever have on skis!

Ski alone or with the group.  Get the inside scoop on how to get an edge over other racers, and ascertain strategic features to dominate the thrilling downhill portion of this amazing ski race.  Trina Hosmer, a member of the first U.S. Women’s Cross-Country Ski Team, will be available to coach and offer tips.

All participants should meet at the base of the Look Out Chair at Stowe Mountain Resort (top of the stairs above the Base Lodge) at 2:30 pm sharp.  Cross-Country skis are welcome but participants are asked to stay on the Auto Toll Road. One run per participant.

This free event is possible because of the generosity of the Stowe Mountain Resort. A $5 donation to the Vermont Ski Museum is suggested.
